Photo Composition 2

Hey guys its me again!! This will be the second part in the three part mini series of blogs where i go over the different kinds of photo composition techniques. So relax, get your popcorn, and get ready to read about more teachniques!

The first kind of technique we will be taking a look at for this blog is depth of field. Depth of field is the  distance between the closest and farthest objects in the photo, with one or both being sharp. With the example above, we can see that the silver flower pot, being the closer object, is much sharper than the plant pot seen behind and above the flower pot. This technique is used so that the viewer can have a good depth perception of the visual as well as focus their attention on what is sharp in the photo.
The next technique we will be taking a look at is deep focus. A deep-focus shot includes all elements in a photo to be sharp. This includes the lighting, background people, main subjects, etc. This technique is used so that it can guide the viewer to a specific spot in the photo and is often used to make the shot look better and more professional in a film or photographic setting.

Were officially done with part 2!! Only one more part to go so i hope you guys have been enjoying reading all about the techniques that are used in photo composition.
