Hi everyone, and welcome to another blog!! In today's post I will be discussing consumer tropes. Tropes are indirect statements that require users to make inferences to understand the true meaning. The use of tropes enhance the effectiveness of magazines, making it more memorable and enjoyable. Tropes can help overcome some of the difficulties in advertisement, such as disinterested readers.

A good example of a magazine that includes news, current events, and profile stories in Time Magazine. American men are more likely to read this magazine tan American women. Th median age of someone who reads this magazine in the United States is 50 years old. About 75% of the people who read Times have attended college or graduated with a degree. 1 in 4 readers of this magazine hold a professional and managerial position. 3 out of 8 households that say they read Times on a regular basis have a household income of $100,000 or more. The demographic for this magazine are people who want and need to stay on top of current events, have career experiences, and are generally well-educated. About 1.7 million people read Times Magazine in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Many data displays that this magazine is read in nations that are considered "developed". By understanding what is occurring in the world, these nations are able to make better choices as to how to go about certain duties.

There has been an impact on many magazine companies falling on this ongoing trend of a fallout. However, this is not the case for Times. Times Magazine listens to its audience and focusses on their wants and have barely been impacted. This expresses the importance of knowledge of your audience. Thank you all for joining me today on another blog! Have a great day!
